Author

As well as my four books on positive mental health recovery, I've written health and travel articles for three decades. It means that I've had plenty of experience in asking the right question at just the right time.

To do that I have also developed the skill of being a very good listener. These are essential when helping and guiding someone.

In 2012 the death by suicide of my best friend Tim led to a life change that saw me travelling with my young family and dog Colin in a motorhome for the past few years. So far we have travelled in 13 countries covering 40,000 miles.
